iolo Accelerates to Another Deloitte Fast 50 Victory
Leveraging its award-winning System Mechanic® software, L.A. developer scores big
LOS ANGELES, CA – October 3, 2007 – iolo technologies and Deloitte & Touche LLP
are pleased to announce that for the third year iolo has won a spot on the "Deloitte
Technology Fast 50," ranking twentieth for 2007.
Los Angeles-based iolo technologies is a software developer and manufacturer widely
known for its award-winning System Mechanic software, which can reverse even years
of system-clogging PC damage to bring computers back to like-new performance.
To qualify for the Fast 50, companies must have had operating revenues of at least
$50,000 in 2002 and $5,000,000 in 2006, be headquartered in North America, and own
proprietary technology that contributes to a significant portion of the company's
operating revenues.
According to iolo CEO Noah Rowles, the key to winning a coveted spot on the Technology
Fast 50 for the third year is fulfilling an ongoing customer need. "We've found
that creating products that have years of enduring relevance instead of explosive
but often fleeting appeal is what works long-term. Every day, millions of people
turn on their PCs and expect them to be fast and responsive. With System Mechanic,
they get that."
This strategy has placed iolo on the Fast 50 three times to date. Tony Buzzelli,
Vice Chairman and Regional Managing Partner, Pacific Southwest Region, Deloitte
& Touche LLP says, "To rank on Deloitte's Technology Fast 50, companies must have
phenomenal revenue growth over five years. iolo has proven to be one of the fast-growth
success stories in the highly competitive Los Angeles area."
Rowles says longstanding product appeal is only part of iolo's success. "There has
to be solid strategic planning, and that should start when you're assembling your
business team. We employ people for the long-term and make it a priority to build
a creative, collaborative atmosphere."
He also values a balance between smart risk-taking and dedication to core products.
"As we enter our tenth year, we're continuing to be known as a market leader, and
we're committed to being first-to-market with revolutionary product advancements.
With System Mechanic, because it inspires such allegiance in millions of users,
we're dedicated to making every new version even more worthy of that trust."
Rowles believes the biggest key to continued success is iolo's extraordinarily devoted
customer base. "As we win new customers, we find they come back year after year."
The user feedback he values most? "In our surveys we hear the same thing again and
again: ‘Your product actually does what it says it does!' That's so important to
us personally, and it's fundamental to iolo's success."
