Retention Analyst
Position Overview
As a Retention Analyst, you will utilize your analytical skills to study customer behavior, identify trends, and develop data-driven strategies for customer retention. Reporting directly to the VP of Product, you will ensure that insights and recommendations align with product development goals and customer satisfaction strategies. The ideal candidate will have a background in the anti-virus or cyber security space, ensuring a deep understanding of customer dynamics within this industry.
Responsibilities
Data Analysis:
- Conduct in-depth analysis of customer retention data, identifying trends, patterns, and key indicators.
- Utilize statistical models and data visualization tools to present insights and recommendations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance data collection processes and ensure alignment with product development goals.
- Segment customer base based on behavior, preferences, and other relevant criteria.
- Develop targeted retention strategies for different customer segments to maximize effectiveness.
Predictive Modeling:
- Develop and maintain predictive models to forecast customer churn and identify potential at-risk accounts.
- Provide actionable recommendations to reduce churn and improve customer retention.
Performance Metrics:
- Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to customer retention.
- Generate regular reports to communicate the effectiveness of retention initiatives and share insights directly with the VP of Product.
- Develop strategic recommendations based on data analysis to improve overall customer retention.
- Advise management and the VP of Product on focus areas and initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Collaborate with the product team to provide insights from customer data, contributing to product enhancements.
- Analyze customer feedback to identify opportunities for improving product satisfaction.
Tool Proficiency:
- Familiar with Customer Data Platforms (CDPs) like Segment or Tealium for integrating and analyzing customer data.
- Proficient in analytics and data visualization tools such as Google Analytics, Domo, Mixpanel, Tableau, and Power BI.
- Experienced with CRM systems like Zendesk, Salesforce or HubSpot for managing customer interactions and data.
- Knowledgeable in predictive analytics tools and languages, including Python or R, for forecasting customer behavior.
- Acquainted with customer success platforms like Gainsight and ChurnZero for monitoring customer health and engagement.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar analytical role within the software subscription industry.
- Background in the anti-virus or cyber security space is highly preferred.
- Proficient in data analysis tools, statistical software, and data visualization tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills to convey complex data insights in a clear and concise manner.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and customer engagement tools.
Software Engineer - Windows Application UI Development
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer with a strong background in Windows application UI development to join our dynamic team. This role involves enhancing the user interface of our SUPERAntiSpyware product, ensuring it is intuitive, responsive, and accessible. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cybersecurity, a keen eye for design, and the ability to translate complex security solutions into a seamless user experience.Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and enhance the user interface of SUPERAntiSpyware for Windows PCs, focusing on usability, performance, and integration with underlying security functionalities.
- Collaborate with UX designers, product managers, and other engineers to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals, and experience.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code, adhering to best practices in UI development.
- Conduct user research and usability testing to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging UI trends and technologies to continuously improve the product and the user experience.
- Work closely with the cybersecurity team to ensure UI components effectively communicate security statuses and alerts to users.
- Address UI-related bugs and performance issues promptly, ensuring a high-quality user experience.
- Participate in code reviews, contributing to the team’s commitment to high code quality and consistent improvement.
- Assist in the creation of comprehensive documentation and support materials for the product’s UI components.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in C++ Win32 API + SDK Windows application development with a proven track record of creating user-friendly interfaces for complex applications.
- Hands-on knowledge of Edge WebView2, IWebBrowser2, and other MS web technologies.
- Ability to hand-code, modify, and debug HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Advanced knowledge of COM, Windows registry and file system, data structures, memory management, alternate data streams.
- Experience with responsive and adaptive design principles, ensuring compatibility across various devices and platforms – in particular, Windows OSes and Chromium-based browsers.
- Strong understanding of UI/UX design principles and a passion for creating engaging user experiences.
- Solid understanding of advanced web development concepts.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity concepts and the unique challenges of designing for security applications is highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- A portfolio showcasing previous UI projects is required.
