Overview of Create DriveScrubber Boot Disk wizard
On the last screen of the wizard, the bootable disk is created.
A Finished message displays to indicate the successful creation of the disk. You can:
Click Restart system now to restart your computer. The DriveScrubber DOS-based application will open to perform the wiping process.
Click Exit on the bottom of the screen to return to the Home page.
If you want to:
Perform the wiping immediately, leave the disk in the drive and restart the computer. The DriveScrubber DOS-based application will open to start the wiping process.
The application provides detailed on-screen instructions and has a Help system that contains step-by-step instructions (press F1 to open the Help). An overview of instructions is also provided here: DriveScrubber DOS-based application.
Perform the wiping later, remove the bootable disk from the drive. When you are ready to wipe a drive, put the bootable disk back into the drive and then start/restart the computer. The DriveScrubber DOS-based application will open to start the wiping process.
Tip: If you will be using the bootable disk later, clearly label it so that you don't inadvertently use it.
