Overview of Wipe All Contents of a Drive wizard

On the first screen of the wizard, select the type of drive you want to wipe.

System Drive. The system drive is the drive that the Windows operating system is installed on. The system drive is most commonly the C drive.
Secondary Hard Drive. A connected drive or partition that does not contain the operating system.

Removable Drive or Device. A removable drive, such as USB flash drive or a detachable hard drive.

Once you have made your selection, click Next. If you chose a:

System Drive, the System Drive Instructions screen will display.
Secondary Hard Drive or Removable Drive or Device, the Select Drive or Device Page screen will display.

Clicking Next will not wipe your drive. The wiping process does not begin until you provide confirmation on the fourth screen, Confirm Selection.
