Wipe free space of a drive

To access:

Click Start next to Wipe free space of a drive.  

What it does:

This wizard wipes the free space and erases the remnants of deleted files from a drive. Regular use of DriveScrubber ensures that deleted information can never be recovered.

 

By wiping only the free space on a drive, remnants of deleted data are erased, but the used space is not touched - the operating system and all of your existing files and programs are left intact.

Instructions:

The wizard has three screens to guide you through the wiping process.

Screen 1: Select Drives to Clean

Screen 2: Configure Options

Screen 3: Clean Selected Drives
