ByePass Will Not Let Me Add More Than 5 Accounts

If you have purchased a service subscription for either System Mechanic Ultimate Defense or ByePass, you are allowed an unlimited number of passwords (accounts). If ByePass only allows you to create five accounts, you are currently running the Free version; the Free version of ByePass allows you to add up to five accounts.

Identify the version of ByePass

If you do not see the gold crown icon in the top right of the ByePass extension, you have installed the free version.

Another way to tell that you do not have the correct, paid (Premium) version of ByePass is that you will not have access to the credit card management feature (located in the left-hand pulldown menu).

To install the Premium version of ByePass that you have purchased, please follow the steps below:

ByePass purchased as a single (standalone) app:

1. Right-click the ByePass icon in your Chrome browser, and choose Remove from Chrome.
2. Alternately, you may navigate to Settings > Extensions in Chrome and remove ByePass.
3. Close all open browser windows.
4. Start Chrome and navigate to https://www.iolo.com/products/byepass/activation/.
5. Enter your email address and ByePass Activation Key (not your Free ByePass key) and click Submit.
6. On the next web page select Install ByePass and then select Add extension.

ByePass installed from within System Mechanic Ultimate Defense):

1. Right-click the ByePass icon in your Chrome browser, and choose Remove from Chrome.
2. Alternately, you may navigate to Settings > Extensions in Chrome and remove ByePass.
3. Close all open browser windows.
4. Close System Mechanic Ultimate Defense.
5. Start System Mechanic Ultimate Defense and select Install ByePass.
6. On the web page that appears, enter your email address, System Mechanic Ultimate Defense Activation Key and click Submit.
7. On the next web page select Install ByePass and then select Add extension.
