Eco-friendly Tips for Your Computer

These days, many of us are looking for ways to conserve energy, both to help the environment and to save some cash: buying energy-efficient light bulbs and appliances, adjusting the thermostat and trying to “reduce, reuse and recycle” where we can. But we may be overlooking one thing that can be a huge energy drain, increasing our monthly utility bills and needlessly filling up landfills—our computers.

Optimizing Your Computer: How to Speed Up Your RAM

Keeping your PC clean and well-maintained is essential to the longevity of the system and the capabilities of the machine. Computer problems can be external or internal. For example, if the interior of the computer is filled with dust, PC performance can fall drastically and affect the user’s experience. Similarly, failing to take care of the software itself will eventually lead to constantly needing to restart your computer to keep it running quickly.

Update & Speed Up Your Phone

Look at an Android smartphone released today, and it is going to be far quicker than one released a couple of years ago. The top smartphone manufacturers are locked in a smartphone-tech arm’s race of sorts. Nowadays, people can expect the best processors, RAM, and storage to be loaded into your Android smartphone. This means that smartphones run quicker. They are basically minicomputers.

9 Tips for Safe Online Shopping in 2021

Online shopping has heavily changed the behavior of consumers in recent years. Whether it means getting the best price on the latest software or purchasing the perfect pair of shoes, online shopping gives us access to products, services, and special deals that might be unavailable to us otherwise.

Windows 10: Recover Lost Files

After updating to a new version of Windows®, many people are eager to see what changes they come across. That eagerness can turn sour in a hurry if there appear to be files deleted or missing after an update. Suddenly, there is fear that it is impossible to recover any of those files, no matter how important or trivial they are.

What Are Browser Cookies & How Do They Work?

The word “cookies” is thrown around a lot online, but there is a lot of misinformation out there about them. Understanding cookies can help users to make smarter decisions when certain websites ask for permission to load them, which will also help increase their online security.

Review: iolo Search and Recover vs. CCleaner Recuva

Data recovery software is one of those purchases whose pricing can be hard to understand. There are so many different options out there, and most people have no idea how much a service should cost. While a person’s data can be invaluable, there are inexpensive options to get the job done.
