Boost app performance with Program Accelerator
Speed up sluggish programs with the technology that correctly re-aligns your whole file system for maximum efficiency.
Here’s how:
- Start System Mechanic and click Toolbox » Individual Tools » Maximize Performance
- Find Program Accelerator and click Start
- Select your drives to re-align and click Next
- Select your options and click Next to start the re-alignment process
Note: Re-alignment can take a while on larger hard drives (up to several hours). You can use your PC during re-alignment, or you can start the process before leaving the office or going to bed.
- When finished, your program files will be aligned for maximum efficiency and ultra-fast access (try starting a resource-intensive app afterward to experience the noticeable improvement)
