The Wipe all contents of a drive wizard wipes all data from a non-system drive . All data from the selected drive or device is erased, leaving a "like new" drive with no data, but the system drive is left intact.
The Wipe free space of a drive wizard wipes the free space, erasing any remnants of deleted files. Only the free disk space is cleaned; existing files and the operating system are left intact.
The Create DriveScrubber boot disk wizard creates a bootable disk that you can then use to wipe any type of drive, including the system drive that contains the operating system. Every sector will be overwritten, leaving a "like new" drive with no data.
The Desktop File Incinerator allows you to enable the Incinerator that can securely delete selected files and folders.
See Choosing the Right Wiping Method for more information on which option suits your needs. See About Data Wiping for more information on the wiping process.
